Rodarius Marcell green[2] born August 27, 1998. He is popularly known as Rod Wave and a singer. [3][4][5] Wave is well-known for his powerful voice, the blending of R&B and hiphop[2and has been hailed as a pioneer of soul-trap. The single from his 2019 album "Heart on Ice" has been a viral hit on YouTube and TikTok. It peaked at 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. The debut album of Wave, Ghetto Gospel (2019) reached the top spot at 10 on the US Billboard 200. [8] His second album, Pray 4 Love (2020), reached the top spot at number 2 on the Billboard 200,[9] and included the song "Rags2Riches", which had a peak at 12 on the Hot 100. His third album SoulFly (2021) debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, marking his first chart-topping record. Wave's career began in 2016 with the release of his mixtape Hunger Games Vol.1. Before signing with Alamo Records, he released various mixtapes of his own. The mixtape was released PTSD on June 14 2019 and included the hit song "Heart on Ice". The track was a hit across YouTube, TikTok and reached the top 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. Wave's debut album Ghetto Gospel (November 1, 2019) was released. It peaked at the number 10 spot on the US Billboard 200. Rod Wave's second album, Pray 4 Love, was released on April 3 in 2020. It debuted at the 2 spot on Billboard 200. The deluxe edition was released on August 7.
