Sofia and Ann

The Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California at the age of 5 old. She grew up in Orange County. The actress got her first big break acting upon graduation from the University of California San Diego, in 2015. Pernas made minor appearances in NCIS as well as Leverage however she was able to land the part of Marisa in The Young and the Restless. The actress, who quit this soap at the end of 2016, was cast in the role as Catalina who is a regular character on Jane the Virgin. She speaks four languages and has since appeared on The Brave with Hannah Rivera in addition to The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Pernas was the character Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure from 2019 to 2020. Us Weekly announced in May 20 that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley who was her costar on The Young and the Restless. It was revealed that Chrishell Stause (the spouse of the This Is Us actor) quit him in November of 2019 and Pernas started dating Hartley.
