Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress, born and brought up at home in Orange County. At the age of 5 she moved from Morocco to California. In the year 2015, she graduated from the University of California San Diego and got her first break as an actress. Pernas had a few appearances in NCIS as well as Leverage however she was able to land the part in the role of Marisa on The Young and the Restless. The actress, who quit this soap at the end of 2016 got the part of Catalina in the role of a regular in Jane the Virgin. The model, who can speak four languages, has appeared on The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. She portrayed Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure from 2019 to 2020. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas is in a relationship with Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The romance came after The This Is Us star split from her spouse Chrishell Stause November 2019. News broke in May 2021 the couple Pernas and Hartley recently tied the knot with a private ceremony.
