Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. She was born in the city of Decatur on 23rd July 1971. LeAnn Kymes, along with Krauss were among the earliest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss - born on July 23, 1971, is an American bluegrass and country vocalist. Alison Maria Krauss began her career in music at a young age she was winning competitions in her local area at the age of 10. She recorded for the first album at 14. In 1985, she signed with Rounder Records and in 1987 she released her first solo album. She was also invited to the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she still performs. In 1989, she released her first solo album, her first solo album debuted in conjunction with the band.
