Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. The father of her was Argentine with Scottish and English heritage. Her mother's heritage is Spanish as well as English. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's prior marriage. The family was within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy stated the relocation was painful, and she refused to go back to school in English because she hoped to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she switched from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in shows. When she reached the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to focus her full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to work as an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her a job as a model.
